ABU DHABI 17 January 2018: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), has urged motorists to exercise caution due to poor visibility, as a result of blowing sand caused by fresh Northwesterly winds.

The centre said that visibility is expected to be less than 2,000 metres, at times, over some inland and coastal areas, said Wam.

Overall for Wednesday, it said it will be fair to partly cloudy in general, hazy at times. Moderate to fresh winds in general causing blowing sand at times especially the over exposed areas. Wind speed will decrease by evening and night.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some internal areas with a chance of fog/mist formation.
The minimum temperature recorded was 6°C.
