Sunday will be hot, hot, hot in UAE… with morning mist 

MOTORISTS URGED TO BE CAUTIOUS

ABU DHABI 20 August 2017: The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), has urged motorists to be cautious on roads due to fog in various areas of the country.

In a statement on Friday, the NCMS said that the weather today will be hot to very hot in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times, adding that the amount of clouds will increase over some eastern areas, becoming convective at times by afternoon, and may be associated with some rainfall.

“Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust and sand over some exposed areas. The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal areas, sea will be slight to moderate in Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea,” added the statement.

The statement also noted that on Sunday, the conditions are likely to be the same, with a probability of mist formation westward by Sunday morning and sea will be moderate to rough at times during the day in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
