DUBAI 3 November 2018: Live Nation Middle East and Flash Entertainment confirm that world-renowned comedian and Hollywood actor Dave Chappelle will make his triumphant return to the UAE as he brings his inimitable brand of brash comedy to Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) for a stand-up show on November 20, 2018. Tickets for the highly anticipated event can be purchased via www.ticketmaster.ae from 12:00pm on October 25.
In 2017, Chappelle celebrated 30 years in comedy by releasing four hugely successful stand-up specials on Netflix – The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium, Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits, Equanimity, and The Bird Revelation – along with a companion double-feature vinyl comedy album. He has since won two television Emmy Awards, a Grammy, and Pollstar’s Comedy Tour of The Year Award.
Acclaimed for the ground-breaking, fearless sketch comedy of Chappelle’s Show, the comedian has established himself as arguably the biggest name in stand-up comedy, an icon revered by fans and peers the world over.
