Three Emirati champs at Saudi Almanieia Festival

DUBAI 25 February 2019: Yesterday, three Emiratis achieved leading position among 100 participating teams in the championship of Almanieia Festival in the Almanieia tourist Oasis in Al Mithnab Governorate in Saudi Arabia.

Hamad Al Balushi won the first place in the “6-cylinder class” sand racing show championship, in addition to achieving the third place in the “6-cylinder class” hill climbing championship on the second day of the festival.

He was followed by Saeed Al Mazrouei in seventh place for the same championship. Also, Mohammed Al Kaabi achieved the sixth place in the “pick-up class” sand racing show.

The festival also hosts other championships such as hill climbing, the modified and classic car shows, folklore shows, sports areas, food carts, youth projects and many activities that bring amateur fans from the Arabian Gulf countries together in an exciting and safe environment.

The festival is held annually at the Almanieia Oasis in Al Mithnab Governorate, which is characterized by its various activities and receives a large number of visitors each year.
