Juma Rashid Saif Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Serbia, attended on Friday, along with Prime Minister of Serbia, Alexander Vucic, and the delegation of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the foundation stone laying ceremony for a textile factory in Raska area, Serbia.
The Serbian PM expressed his pride in the permanent friendship between Serbia and the UAE, and extended his appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation for investing in and implementing these projects in the area of Raska. He added that the new plant would provide 400 jobs.
The UAE ambassador commended the humanitarian role of the Khalifa Foundation in providing assistance to sisterly and friendly countries.
The move is part of the developmental role played by the Khalifa Foundation, alongside the charitable work it undertakes worldwide.
