ABU DHABI 5 December 2017: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), has urged motorists to be cautious, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles due to a dust storm caused by winds in various areas of the country.

“Moderate to fresh winds inland, causing rising dust and poor horizontal visibility at times, especially over the exposed areas and fresh to strong winds over the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

“The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some southern areas. Sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea,” the statement added.

The NCM also said that on Wednesday, the weather is likely to remain similar, noting that on Wednesday sea will be moderate in general, rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman sea, said Wam.
