UAQ cops help kids reunite with dad – after 2 years

UMM AL QUWAIN 11 October 2017: Two children – aged 3 and 6 years – were reunited with their father in Umm Al Quwain, in the United Arab Emirates – thanks to authorities in two different countries.

The Emirati father was helped by the General Command of Umm Al Quwain Police, represented by the Social Support Center, which coordinated with the State Embassy in Jordan and the Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Foundation for Humanitarian and Humanitarian Affairs, according to a report in Arabic daily Al Bayan.

The two years of separation was due to differences family between mother and father, said the daily.

It did not name the parents or the children nor did it reveal the gender of the kids.

Lt. Col. Saif Adran, Director of the Social Support Center in Umm Al Quwain, said that the concerned parties have been coordinated to finalize all procedures related to the two children and to hand them over to their father.
