Weekend Weather: Chances of ‘some rain’ somewhere in UAE

Head to the mountains to cool down

ABU DHABI 11 May 2017: Feeling the heat? Weekend is the perfect time to head to the mountains where the mercury is forecast to drop to about 17°C, according to the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).

NCMS also says that there is a possibility of ‘some rain’ on both Thursday and Friday.

In the rest of the country – especially in internal areas, the temperature is expected to hit a high of 43°C, so find a nice cool place to spend the weekend.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal areas.

Convective clouds will develop over eastern and southern areas by afternoon, associated with some rain at times. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
