ABU DHABI 25 August 2017: The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), has urged motorists to be cautious, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles due to a dust storm caused by winds in various areas of the country.

There is wide variation in temperatures with UAE recording a low of 23°C in the mountains and a high of 46°C in internal areas.

The statement said that on Friday and Saturday, the weather is likely to remain hot, noting that seas will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.

FRIDAY: Hot in general, very hot over some internal areas, partly cloudy and hazy at times. Some clouds will form over some eastern and southern areas. Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times causing blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal areas. Sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf may be rough during morning times and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.

SATURDAY: Hot in general, very hot over some internal areas, partly cloudy and hazy at times. Light to moderate wind in general, freshening at times causing blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal areas. Sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
