DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended a reception hosted by Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
The event on Wednesday evening in Dubai was to celebrate the wedding of Dr. Gargash’s son, Ali, to the daughter of Waleed Ahmed Attiya.

Also present were Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department, sheikhs, ministers, senior officials, and relatives of the couples.
Sheikh Mohammed wished the couple a happy married life. He congratulated the respective fathers on the auspicious occasion.
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince attends wedding
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, attended the reception hosted by Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of his son Ali’s wedding to the daughter of Waleed Ahmad Attiyah.
Others who attended the wedding, held in Al Khawaneej area, included Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, director of the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office of the Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince; Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary at the Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, sheikhs, senior officials, guests and the families of the couple.
