DUBAI 11 June 2018: Dubai Police has arrested four young men who assaulted another and posted the video of the assault on social media channels in real time.
The four young men aged between 16 and 20 years were involved in an assault on another young man. Someone documented the assault on his cell phone. The video was then posted on social media sites.
Dubai Police confirmed that in less than 24 hours, all four young men were arrested. They have been referred to the public prosecutor’s office for legal proceedings.
Dubai Police called on parents to keep an eye on their children, especially adolescents. It urged the youth to resolve the differences in a civilised way and not to use force to solve them.
It also urged all to respect the privacy of others and not to post any videos or images of inappropriate behavior.
