6.5-magnitude quake rocks central Philippines; Family safe?

MANILA 7 July 2017: Please let us know if your family is safe after a powerful 6.5 quake rattled the central Philippines on Thursday at 4:03 p.m. , seismologists reported.

The quake centered eight kilometers southwest of Jaro town on Leyte Island, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, was quoted by the inquirer.net as saying, said Wam.

There were no immediate injuries from the inland quake that hit at a shallow depth of two kilometers.
