
DUBAI 2 October 2018: Over 400 cyclists took on the first Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge Build-Up Ride and cyclists are now gearing up for the second Build-Up Ride of the season taking place on Friday, 5 October.
Each Build-Up ride increases in distances and registration for the 50km cycling event is closing on Wednesday!
The event will be held at Al Qudra Cycle Path, stating at 6am and once the hard work on the track is over, cyclists can enjoy a delicious breakfast provided by Spinneys. The early morning event will also see a host of other sponsors offering fun and games and eats and treats for the entire family in the Cycle Village.
For all those who are new to the sport, Revolution Cycles Dubai will be on-site to ensure everyone is well looked after and will ride alongside those that need some extra support as newcomers continue with their exciting cycling journey.
The Build-Up Rides are designed to get cyclists prepared for the biggest challenge of the season – the 92km event on Friday, 14 December. Launched nine years ago, the event has continued to grow with over 2,000 cyclists from all over the world entering the 92km event and many cyclists taking part in the UCI Gran Fondo Category to try to qualify for the exciting UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.
The popular Spinneys Dubai 92 Junior Rides are also taking place during the Cycle Challenge weekend. The timed 2.5km, 15km and 30km rides are designed for 6 to 15 year-olds held at the Dubai Autodrome on Thursday, 13 December.
