ABU DHABI 5 October 2018: The Fifa Club World Cup UAE 2018 Local Organising Committee (LOC) is seeking 1000+ volunteers to take on a variety of roles in the build-up to, and during, the tournament which takes place from 12-22 December in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.

The only qualification restriction: applicants must be over the age of 16.

Registering for the programme will provide volunteers a unique opportunity to nurture their talents, learn new skills and be at the heart of this world-class event. The tournament will see six continental club champions and UAE host team Al Ain FC come together to battle for the crown of best club side on the planet.

With less than 100 days to go until the opening match of the tournament between Al Ain FC and New Zealand’s Team Wellington FC at Al Ain’s Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, the LOC is calling on the country’s best and brightest to join the club and take on some exciting roles.

Mohammad Sayed Ishaq Ramshi, aged 29, from UAE, who volunteered in 2017, said: “I have a strong passion for the game and volunteering gave me a chance to contribute to the success of the tournament by getting involved behind the scenes. I met some great people and I encourage more people to sign up. It is an experience you will never forget.”

Volunteers who register for the program will be assigned a role in one of six areas: accreditation, competition, marketing, media, protocol and venue management.
