Ajman Lands and Properties Department gets care-taker head

Al Faraj appointed as caretaker General Manager of the Department

AJMAN, 2 April, 2017: Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has issued a resolution, appointing Yafei Eid Al Faraj as the caretaker General Manager of the Land and Properties Department in Ajman.

The resolution authorises Al Faraj to supervise the day-to-day work of the department, manage its financial and administrative affairs as well as coordinate the work of the main sections and administrative units. He will also manage the open bank accounts in the name of the Land and Properties Department in Ajman or on behalf of Ajman Real Estate Regulatory Agency (Arra).

It also authorises Al Faraj to sign cheques and other exchange documents to withdraw money when the transaction concerned is of an urgent nature or within the normal transactions that the Ajman Land and Properties Department or Arra Agency is a party, or is explicitly included in the approved annual budget of the mentioned department or institution. Apart from this, Al Faraj must obtain the prior written consent from chairman of the department to complete the transaction concerned.

This resolution shall come into effect as of 1st May 2017 and shall remain valid until the Emiri Decree is issued to appoint the General-Manager of the Department in accordance with the provisions of Article 9 of the Emiri Decree No. 7 of 2017.

The resolution shall be published in the official gazette of the Emirate and circulated to all those addressed and parties concerned to implement its provisions.
