DUBAI 29 March 2019: An Arab has been arrested in Dubai for making fun of Gulf nationals through a video which he uploaded on social media channels.
According to Dubai Police the suspect made fun ‘abusing’ money and women.
The man of African nationality, is reported to have posted a video in which he created the character of a “sloppy Gulf national” who scattered money and threw it at a group of women in a provocative manner.
Dubai Police said he presented an insulting view of Gulf customs, traditions and attire.
The suspect has been transferred to the competent authorities to complete legal proceedings against him.
Dubai Police called on members of the society to respect the laws, customs and traditions and not to publish abusive videos on social media channels.
