DUBAI 27 November 2017: Holding one foot in your corporate job in a large organization and the other in ‘the possibility of entrepreneurship with huge dreams’, is not the space you need to be in if you believe in yourself.
Viewing the ‘big picture’ that you can almost taste, feel and smell, willing to risk whatever it takes to follow your heart, once you’ve decided to embark on this very unique journey, is the key.
It’s never an effort to take the risk when you can feel from your heart that the emotion resonates with your true purpose and calling and forget about your passion for the moment, as that continues to build momentum into something great from within, as you progress on this path.
It finally leads you to diverting your focus of only money, into loving what you do every day, that you awake daily and look forward to tackling with sheer drive, determination and passion, no matter if you’ve been at the grinding stone for 18 out of 24 hours of the day, much like I have found myself for decades, working like a Trojan, with no end to my energy, giving my all to myself and my businesses. Then guess what? Once you focus off the money, the money flows, as there is no resistance!
Forget the Fear
Forget the fear of burning out, because it simply doesn’t exist and once you learn to recreate yourself, your unique gifts and talents and can deliver the best sterling service and you continue to strive to improve that level of service, new ideas, initiatives, concepts and brands, new opportunities will arise and unfold before your eyes and you will wonder how you transformed into this magical being, with gifted talents.
Authentic entrepreneurship has no stops, we keep revolving from one unique corner to the next and at the push of the button, we learn to transform ourselves into ‘Game Changers’, without even realizing that we are learning how to accomplish great things for ourselves and for humanity. In this game you are lead by your heart most of the time, but you also learn to control your emotions to best serve you and your audience.
We are all authentic beings with our very own unique innate gifts, just some of us never learn how to nurture those gifts to allow them to unfold, so we can learn how to continue improving those talents where others can benefit from our creations. You learn that serving is the ultimate gift you could nurture, perfect and transform into a golden ball of light for your benefit and those who encounter you.
Encourage Yourself
Do I sound like I’m in the sky, or hallucinating? Maybe, but it’s because I love my cup to overflow when I am on a subject I consider to be ‘hot’, that stimulates individuals to be their most authentic selves, that stirs the realization that they can transform themselves into someone they dreamt of because they can and maybe, nobody was there to encourage them to take that step forward, but here’s a secret: You need to learn to encourage yourself, be your own follower, search for uniqueness in niche markets, master the art of creativity in down-turn economies and carve your own unique path.
I certainly grasp the hesitation and perhaps fear of risks, loss of money, stability, security and the insecurities that we perceive could be detrimental to our existence and our ability to continue supporting our families, if we take the plunge to venture into entrepreneurship.
Let me share with you that it goes with the territory, nothing ventured, nothing gained, but what exists is making informed decisions to venture on this path, not just taking uncalculated risks, although such individuals exist, and they have learn’t how to cope with failing, because the latter is a tough call and only for those who can bite many bullets and emerge scathed or unscathed on the other end, but continue to survive and later thrive.
Sincere Advice
That is a gift that accumulates many layers of life’s experience in business and personal life, but what I find uncanny is the individuals dreaming to embark on this journey would normally fail to identify a real opportunity, because they are too busy consulting with seeking legal and other advice that is irrelevant to entrepreneurship, because they don’t have the knowledge of the industry. Seated outside of the entrepreneurship arena is way different to being active in one and so when you seek sincere advice, source it from the experienced individuals qualified to tender such advice, who have hands-on practical experience and who have failed abysmally many times over, but emerged winners.
Those are the individuals of substance, not the theoretical individuals who have never not had water to drink once upon a time in their lives, or a roof over their head, or no food to eat, who took their last investment to build a business with faith and determination, no risks considered, but who achieved the success they dreamt about, the doers not the sayers.
The most famous quote ‘Learn how to walk the walk, not just talk the talk’, is very true and once you hold that substance in your hand, then there is not much you have not accomplished in life, once you emerge the winner, but it goes with many sacrifices, it’s not as breezy as it seems to be from the outside looking in…
