A Jordanian bride fainted at her wedding and was taken to hospital after the groom surprised her with a snake he pulled out of a small bag.
The groom was standing next to his bride in a packed wedding hall when he pulled out the snake and asked for a photograph to be taken with his bride and the reptile.
Newspapers said the bride screamed and collapsed on the floor, prompting relatives to call for an ambulance.
They said she was rushed to hospital and doctors later told her family that she was in a stable condition.
