Trip lasted four months

A Chinese Muslim travelled more than 8,000 km on a bicycle from his country to Saudi Arabia to perform Haj (pilgrimage), a Saudi newspaper reported on Sunday.

Mohammed, previously Po Chen, arrived in the Gulf kingdom last week after a four-month trip that took him to many countries.

The 40-year-old man arrived in Bahrain and crossed the 25-km King Fahd Causeway that links that island nation with Saudi Arabia, Ajel daily said.
