DUBAI 12 April 2017: Can airlines really do this? A video clip of an Asian ‘doctor’ – who wanted to just get home – being forcibly dragged off a United airlines flight because of overbooking – has caused an uproar around the world.
Both news channels and social have been in a frenzy over the incident, while an unapologetic United airlines CEO says the airline ‘followed procedures’ and that the passenger was ‘belligerent’.
United is being lampooned on social media which has a slogan of being ‘flyer friendly’.
