DUBAI 21 March, 2019: Global Village will witness leading Indian hip-hop stars, Badshah & Raftaar, live in concert and performing on one stage for the first time ever, on Friday, 22nd March 2019.
Guests are invited to celebrate the Festival of Colors with multiple fun including Happiness Pool, Wall of Colors, and meet and greet opportunities with kids favorite characters, followed by the signature fireworks show before the concert begins at 9 pm. All celebrations are included with the entry ticket of Dh15.
Badshah and Raftaar began their career in ‘Mafia Mundeer’, a group with superstar YoYo Honey Singh and gained tremendous popularity with the younger generation. The pair went on to pursue individual projects that have since topped the charts internationally. These include ‘Dhup-Chick’, ‘DJ Wale Babu’, ‘Abhi To Party Shuru Hui Hai’, ’Kar Gayi Chull’, ‘Kaala Chasma’, ‘Baby Ko Base Pasand Hai’ and ‘The Breakup Song’.
Badshah and Raftaar have released a string of dance hits over the past decade, receiving awards and cultivating a dedicated fan following. From ‘Heartless’ to contagious beats like ‘Sare Karo Dab’, prepare for an evening of their chart-topping tracks and fan antics.
Global Village Season 23 welcomes guests and offers unique shopping experiences, cultural performances, entertainment events and surprises every day until Wednesday, 13th April 2019. Opening hours are from 4 pm to 12 am from Saturday to Wednesday and from 4 pm to 1 pm on Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays. On Mondays, it is dedicated to families and women only.
