Mohammed bin Rashid receives Covid-19 vaccine

DUBAI 4 November 2020: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday received the coronavirus, Covid-19, vaccine.

In a tweet on the occasion, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed said, “We wish everyone safety and great health, and we are proud of our teams who have worked relentlessly to make the vaccine available in the UAE. The future will always be better in the UAE.”

Earlier, Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, received the Covid-19 vaccine to support the national efforts to address the pandemic, said official news agency Wam.

Al Gergawi explained that the UAE, thanks to the directives of the leadership and the efforts of various work teams, has demonstrated its ability to deal with the pandemic with high efficiency, stressing the role of the health sector and medical personnel and their contributions to support the country’s efforts to address the pandemic.
