DUBAI 6 August 2017: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has awarded Dh129.55 million contracts for 1,570 transformers.
This is part of Dwa’s ongoing efforts to meet various requirements to expand the electricity distribution network, and provide its services reliably, efficiently and availability to world-class standards.
“Dewa is actively implementing vital projects,” said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dewa.
“These transformers will increase the capacity, efficiency and reliability of the electricity distribution network in Dubai, to ensure a continuous and stable supply of power to all stakeholders. All the transformers will be delivered by April 2018,” added Al Tayer.
