DUBAI 22 February 2019: Have you received a fake job offer? It seems that someone is out there scamming hopeful job seekers.
Some incidents have come to light and the Indian consulate in Dubai – overseeing half of the population (Indians) of the city, seesm to take it seriously enough to issue a warning.
“In the past few days, Consulate General of India, Dubai has come across at least two fraud job offers made to Indian nationals in the name of UAE companies. A copy of the fraud job offer is attached,” it said in a statement issued to the press.
“Consulate General of India, Dubai would like to advise that job-seekers should not fall prey to such bogus job offers and in case of any doubt, may seek clarification from the Consulate by sending an email to Vice Consul (Labour) at labour.dubai@mea.gov.in and copy to cgoffice.dubai@mea.gov.in,” it added.
