DUBAI 25 March 2018: Just as Mercury falls into Retrogade, we’re taking a look into our Middle East’s Uber Lost & Found Index to see what has been left behind in Ubers over the last year (March ’17 – March ’18) – and it includes everything from shisha, a painting to a sound system.
What have Middle Easterns forgotten in 2017?
The most frequently forgotten items during Uber trips in the Middle East were phones, wallets and keys (to car and homes), with other forgotten items also largely including glasses, backpacks and jewellery.
People in Riyadh, Dubai and Jeddah tend to be the most forgetful and reach out to Uber via in-app support feature the most. If you’re planning to take an Uber on weekends, just make sure you do the “possession pat down” before leaving the car, as the index shows you’re most likely to lose something on a Thursday or Friday!
