ABU DHABI 26 March 2019: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), has called on motorists and pedestrians to take caution and follow traffic regulations, due to continued weather conditions causing poor visibility on roads and highways.
And, in Dubai, the police also issued a sandstorm warning saying blowing dust and dirt may cause poor visibility. “Drive carefully and have a safe journey!”
The NCM said that blowing dust and sand is causing poor visibility of less than 2,000 metres at times as a result of fresh to strong southeasterly winds, with speed reaching up to 55km/hr across scattered areas.
These weather conditions will continue until 15:00 on Tuesday, 26th March, the statement concluded.
