ABU DHABI 14 June 2019: have you kept driving normally even when an emergency vehicle with sirens blaring and lights blazing has swept in behind you looking for a pass?
Well, do it no more.
The Ministry of Interior is dispatching civil patrols to monitor vehicle drivers who are not abiding by the rule of giving way to official vehicles including emergency, civil defense and ambulance vehicles.
Remember that the penalty for not giving way to emergency vehicles is Dh1,000 and 6 traffic points.
