Dubai cop run over while trying to help woman

DUBAI 9 April 2018: Maj General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, visited officer Saeed Mohamed from the department of Search and Rescue, in Rashid Hospital.

The policeman Saeed Mohammed was injured after he was run over as he was trying to help a woman whose car had broken down on a street in Dubai, according to a Dubai Police post on its Facebook page.

Al Marri was accompanied by Brigadier General Abdullah Ali, Director of public administration for the security of bodies, installations and emergencies.

Major General Al Marri was assured of the condition of the officer, and wished him a speedy recovery, and return to work in the near future.

For his part, Saeed expressed happiness and appreciation to the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police for his visit, emphasizing that the visit reflected the bonds of affection and the concern of the senior leadership of the Dubai Police for the staff
