DUBAI: Former Dubai Police Chief Khamis Al Mazeina has been posthumously honoured.
Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri and an accompanying delegation visited the mother of the late Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina., and presented her with the Dubai Police Medal of First Class, as a token of appreciation for his distinguished service.
Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri said that Dubai Police annually participates in UAE Mother’s Day and celebrates the mothers of the nation. He said that Dubai Police’s gesture is inspired by the vision of the country’s leadership and their recognition of the efforts of the UAE’s mothers in instilling courage and strength in their children to fight for the nation. Al Marri also paid tribute to the late Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina.
The mother of the late Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid for the continuous support he has extended to the sons of the nation. The Medal was received by Abdullah Mattar Al Mazeina, who expressed his gratitude to His Highness for the noble gesture.
