An Asian and his uncle raped a girl of the same nationality after he met her through social networks in Dubai, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The girl had agreed to meet the man at a Dubai Metro station following their contacts through the social media, the Arabic language daily ‘Al Bayan’ said.
The man then asked her to get in the car with him for a ride but he later asked her to have sex with him, the paper said.
“She refused and asked him to drop her at home…but he refused and went to his uncle’s house, where he picked him and drove to an isolated area…there they took turns in raping the woman by force,” it said, adding that the two were sentenced by a Dubai court to one year in prison and ordered deported from the UAE.
