Japan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia and his wife took time out of the routine diplomatic work on Tuesday and went to a beach for cleaning.
A Saudi man strolling on the Jeddah Corniche in West Saudi Arabia captured images of the couple cleaning the beach without realizing he is the Japanese ambassador.
“I asked them if I can take pictures because I admired what they were doing…I was surprised when I learned that he is the Japanese ambassador and his wife,” the Saudi told the Arabic language daily Sada.
