Global Village, the region’s first multicultural festival park, opens today [November 1, 2016].
The 21st season, with the theme ‘A New World Everyday’, will run for 159 days until April 8.
Offering yet another unique experience, 75 countries will participate in the fest.
On November 4, Friday, Abdullah Bil Khair, Emirati superstar, will be the first celebrity to grace the venue, while Indian singing sensation, Sunidhi Chauhan, will take the stage on NOvember 11.
A host of entertainment activities, including cultural shows at each pavilion, have been lined up this season. There are over 150 restaurants, cafes and kiosks, too.
Global Village will be open 4pm to 1am. While Mondays are dedicated to families and ladies only.
