ICC academy secures partnership with Babyshop

Babyshop becomes ICC Academy CricketCubs and ICC Academy Summer Camp sponsor
Cricket Cubs Winter Season commenced on 13th September 2016. Second Term to commence on 17th January

Dubai Sports City has today (Sunday 30th October) announced a brand-new partnership between the International Cricket Council Academy and Babyshop retail stores which will see Babyshop invest in the future of cricket in the region.
The agreement will see Babyshop become Title Sponsor of the ICC Academy’s flagship youth development programme Cricket Cubs and the 2017 Babyshop Summer Cricket Camp, catering for ages 3 – 12 years.
Commenting on the announcement, Will Kitchen, ICC Academy Manager said: “Today’s announcement is a significant boost to the sport of cricket in the region.  The Babyshop partnership will enable us to build on the current youth programmes we already have in place creating strong building blocks for the future. Being a world leader in sports development are key goals for both Dubai Sports City and the ICC Academy and this partnership will not only aid the development of the children of today but leaving a legacy for generations to come.”

The ICC Academy’s Cricket Cub programme is an initiative to get children between 3 and 6 years old involved in fun, physical activities using cricket as its main medium for the development of motor skills and hand eye coordination.
