AJMAN 7 April 2017: Some 305 muezzins (men who call Muslims to prayer) and imams (men who lead prayers) of mosques in the emirate of Ajman have received training on how to act, deal with, and put out fires using various types of extinguishers and techniques.
The training was provided by the Ajman Civil Defence and the General Authority of Islamic Affairs And Endowments.
The training was part of the Ministry of Interior’s 2017 awareness plan, noted Brigadier Rashid Jassim Majlad, Acting Director-General of Ajman Civil Defence.
