Indonesian travels with son on mobike to Umrah

DUBAI 29 October 2019: Indonesian Lilik Gunawan and his son Ahmad Humaidullah have traveled up to 18.200 km on a motorcycle to reach the UAE – a stop on their way to umrah in Saudi Arabia.

Dubai Police received the pair and feted them.

Brigadier Abdullah bin Khadim, Director of Bur Dubai Police Station and Director of Dubai Police Station Council, received Lilik and his son Ahmad, who came to the police station to thank and acknowledge the efforts of Dubai Police to help them reach the Indonesian Consulate and facilitate their affairs as they pass through the UAE to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.

Brigadier bin Khadim said that the Indonesian traveler started his journey from his motherland accompanied by his son Ahmed on a motorcycle. Both had to go to the Indonesian Consulate in Bur Dubai police jurisdiction to complete the official paperwork.

Brigadier Bin Khadem added that the Indonesian traveler came to Bur Dubai police station on the second day to thank the employees of the center and their keen interest in providing them with assistance and making sure they arrive at the consulate easily.
