DUBAI 23 October 2017: An Indian manager allegedly threatened a job seeker of killing her and her family if she married another man, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

NR, 30, met a manager in an employment services and consultancy and asked him to help her find a job.

After sending him her CV, the manager started chasing and annoying her by emails, WhatsApp messages and phone calls.

He also stalked her from place to place and called her from different numbers so she would answer his calls.

He told her that he admires her and that he wanted to marry her.

“After I refused him, he threatened that he would kill me if I accepted any other man. Using different local mobile numbers and an international number he threatened that he will kill my mother, then the rest of my family members before killing me,” she said.

The victim also received abusive phrases and threats.

The victim lodged a complaint with the police and supplied them with the messages, emails, and mobile numbers which the accused used.

Police arrested the manager, SZ, 35.

The court adjourned the case until November 14.
