Saudi airport customs inspectors arrested a passenger who tried to smuggle nearly 832 gm of heroin into the Gulf kingdom by hiding the stuff in his belly.
The inspectors at the airport in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah decided to search the passenger after noticing he looked pale and fatigued.
“Imaging showed he was hiding 104 capsules of heroin inside his abdomen…he was taken to hospital where the stuff was discharged,” Ajel daily said without identifying the passenger.
