Saudi authorities on Tuesday executed a local man convicted of killing his wife while he was intoxicated, newspapers reported on Wednesday.
Mohammed Al Ruhaili was executed by a firing squad in a public place in the Western town of Medina after he was sentenced to death by a local court.
An interior ministry statement said the defendant had confessed to beating his wife to death after taking drugs at his home in Medina.
