A Saudi man used a machine gun to kill his mother and sister at their home in the Gulf kingdom before he handed himself over to the police.
Newspapers said the murder sent shock waves in the Northeastern Hafr Al Batin town and police were questioning the man, in his 20s, for his motives.
Police rushed to the area after receiving calls about shooting inside a house in the town and found both women lying in a pool of blood.
The report said the killer’s sister died on the spot while his mother was rushed to hospital, where she died later.
