In response to an invitation from HH Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, 40 members of the Sharjah’s Youth Consultative Council( Al-Shoora Program) participated in a conference entitled ‘Investing in the Future’ at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre. The Council’s participation is in line with its objective to take part in major local and international conferences.
The Conference aimed to promote the best practices in investment by emphasising dialogue between participants. Members of the Council attended conference activities and monitored the communication skills, discussed techniques with the guests and how they responded to questions from the audience about different topics. The young participants also gained experience by attending the workshops that were held at the sidelines of the conference. Overall, the Conference was an opportunity to support young participants and improve their abilities in the future.
Furthermore, the members of the council attended a one day sessions and participated in the workshops organised for the day. They interacted with the presenters in a positive and sophisticated manner and they also proposed some suggestions on setting up regulations concerning female empowerment.
