Mohammed bin Rashid attends ‘Hathi Biladi’ operetta

DUBAI 26 may 2017: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended an operatte performance titled Hathi Biladi (This is My Homeland).

It was organized by the Ministry of Education and performed by over 500 school students.

The operetta was held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Director of Dubai Information Department Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum and a number of senior officials attended the event.

A number of Emirati and Gulf vocalists participated in the operetta, which consisted of six shows, covering patriotism, Emirati schools, heritage, the gallant servicemen, the leadership and the homeland.

The operetta highlighted the achievements made by the UAE under the wise vision of the leadership. It also reflected the spirit of solidarity and joint action among the GCC countries.

Sheikh Mohammed lauded the performance which reflected the loyalty to the UAE and the leadership and emphasized the unity of the UAE people.
