Mohammed, Saud condole death of Saif Al Ghurair

DUBAI 28 August 2019: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, offered their condolences on the death of Saif Ahmad Al Ghurair.

Sheikh Mohammed visited Al Ghurair family gathering in Al Khawaneej, Dubai and offered his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased.

Accompanying Sheikh Mohammed were Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Director General of Dubai’s Protocol and Hospitality Department Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman.

Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: It is with deep sorrow and profound grief that we received the news of the death of Saif bin Ahmed Al Ghurair, one of the UAE’s great economic figure. May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace.

“The UAE has lost one of the most prominent businessmen, whose investments in real estates, banking and manufacturing sectors largely contributed to supporting our wise leadership’s efforts to establish a competitive economy, build a national industry, diversify sources of income and enhance the country’s global reputation.”

Saif Al Midfa, CEO of Sharjah Expo Center, said: “He was a role model, who proved the UAE’s citizens’ efficiency in the business sector. He had a unique vision in the private sector, which was reflected in his plans and actions that contributed to enhancing the country’s global position as a successful model for investment and flexible business environment. His life was full of achievements that yielded good returns on the UAE and its people.
