65% of people got at least one vaccine dose

ABU DHABI 14 March 2021: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 244,459 additional Covid-19 tests, and announced 2,159 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 424,405.

‏MoHAP also announced 10 deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,388.

‏The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

‏MoHAP also noted that an additional 1,939 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 403,478.

The total number of vaccine doses provided stands at 6,516,723 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 65.89 doses per 100 people.
