KHORFAKKAN 14 May 2017: Medium to heavy rains associated with lightning, thunder and hails, lashed Khorfakkan on Saturday, causing a drop in temperature and gathering of water pools on the streets.
The heavy rains, which hit the city and the surrounding mountain villages, also led to the flow of water in valleys such as Wadi Shi, and on the transit road in Khorfakkan, said Wam.
As inhabitants welcomed the rains, the municipality started to drain the water from the streets.
