Mohammed bin Rashid, Mohamed bin Zayed host UAE Rulers, diplomats

ABU DHABI 2 September 2017: Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates yesterday expressed their warmest congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, wishing him continued health and well-being, as well as success in leading the nation towards further prosperity.

During a reception at Al Mushref Palace in Abu Dhab, hosted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, and H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, also prayed that the UAE continues to hold its strong, prestigious and respected position in the world, said Wam.

The reception, which was also attended by Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers from around the UAE, including H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah, was held in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

The attendees all called on Allah Almighty to preserve the UAE’s safety and security, expressing pride in the courage of the UAE people, the sacrifices they have made in the name of glory and honour, their resilience, and for standing up for what is right.

They also prayed for the souls of the nation’s fallen servicemen and women and for the protection of the soldiers carrying out their duties.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed went on to receive and exchange greetings with a number of citizens, ministers, and dignitaries on the occasion.

Mohammed bin Rashid and Mohamed bin Zayed receive diplomats on Eid Al Adha

ABU DHABI, 1st September, 2017 (WAM) — Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today welcomed members of the diplomatic corps of Arab, Muslim, and other countries, along with heads of international organisations in the UAE, who went to offer their greetings on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha at Al Mushrif Palace.

The UAE leaders exchanged greetings and congratulations with well-wishers, expressing their hopes for peace to prevail, and for people to enjoy a tolerant and peaceful coexistence throughout the world.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also expressed to the diplomats their delight in the friendly and cooperative relations the UAE shares with their countries and peoples, conveying their desire to develop and widen the scope of those relations to fulfil mutual interests and common aspirations.
