DUBAI 2 September 2017: UAE residents and visitors were in for a thrilling long weekend as Dubai’s spectacular new show, La Perle, opened its doors at Al Habtoor City for the first time.
A breathtaking fusion of artistic performance, creative imagery and ground-breaking technology, La Perle amazed audiences with a 90-minute live performance masterpiece, featuring 65 world-class artists from 23 different countries.
The new 1,300 seat theatre, located in the heart of Al Habtoor City, has been purpose-built to host Dubai’s first resident entertainment show and performed to a full house for its first two shows on Thursday, August 31st at 7pm and Friday, September 1st at 7pm.
Produced by the cultural and creative company Dragone, directed by the legendary artistic director Franco Dragone, and brought to Dubai by one of the region’s most successful business enterprises, Al Habtoor Group, La Perle represents a new era in the regional entertainment industry.
The story of La Perle is inspired by Dubai and its rich cultural past, vibrant present and aspirational future. The three main characters will take their audience on an exciting and visually captivating journey through time as they witness cutting edge stagecraft combined with state-of-the-art theatre technology. From never-seen-before motorcycle stunts, to artists diving from heights of 25 metres and flying through the air at sensational speeds, La Perle delivers an unmissable entertainment experience that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
