Sharjah says largest safari outside Africa is open

He explained that the Sharjah safari project began work five years ago and reached its opening . Its cost amounted to approximately Dh1 billion, stressing that the safari is an environmentally friendly place containing various animals and plants in a prepared environment that helps them live and reproduce, and it has been designed distinctively. For visitors to enjoy it and provide knowledge about its contents, the safari also provides jobs for the region’s people. It has provided 300 jobs for young men and women in the region who work and are distinctively known for the safari.

Dr. Sultan indicated that the projects that will be implemented would also include other areas in the central region: Including the Maleha area, whose projects will be distinguished while preserving their privacy, as their projects will be far from popular housing.

He stressed that all Sharjah’s efforts and projects are launched, putting faith first, preserving its principles, values and traditions, and enhancing its authentic identity. To take responsibility, take care of their families and children, and be proud of their religion and country.

The Sharjah Ruler pointed out that attention to the human being in Sharjah is not only through providing education, culture and development projects but even in following up their social conditions, pointing to his follow-up to the file of retirees from the Emirate of Sharjah. They have given a lot to their country to raise the standard of living for them.

Following his speech, His Highness extended his sincere thanks to those in charge of the Sharjah safari, including administrators and guides. He also thanked those who contributed to its implementation in a distinguished manner, including engineers, experts and specialists.
