Sharjah Alert: Get Sewa connection in just three hours

SHARJAH 7 April 2019: Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (Sewa), has unveiled its strategic plan to deliver electricity, water and gas services in the Free Zone and residential areas within three hours of completion of the building and completion of procedures, as part of the authority’s vision for 2020.

Dr. Rashid Al Leem, Sewa Chairman, pointed out that the infrastructure of energy and water is one of the most important elements of attracting investment and economic development of the Emirate of Sharjah so that this investment becomes essential to make the economy more efficient and increase production capacity.

Sewa reviews smart transformation system with ZeroClock

Al-Leem has also reviewed smart transformation in networks and smart meters system with ZeroClock, an Italian consultation company for IT & communication solutions.

The meeting was are part of Sewa strategy to provide good services to its more than 450,000 subscribers.

The delegation was headed by its CEO of ZeroClock, Andrea DeSantis.

Al-Leem stressed that the smart meters project aims to implement comprehensive reliable solutions that are adaptable and expandable to serve the future operational needs of the Emirate of Sharjah.
