UAE First: Free cars for ‘People of Determination’

Ajman crown prince launches initiative

AJMAN 28 May 2017: Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, issued a directive for the launch of a group of initiatives to support the various sectors of the community, including providing free vehicles for ‘People of Determination’, to encourage their role in greater accomplishments and continuous creativity, which is considered the most important foundation for building the nation.

Sheikh Ammar adopted the People of Determination logo on the special free vehicles, from a subsidiary of the Public Transport Corporation in Ajman.

He also ordered authorities to provide abstinent families with free coupons to use for taxis in the emirate, as well as to provide special cards for the elderly.

These directives are part of the initiative of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to make 2017 the Year of Giving, and the initiative of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to encourage and support People of Determination.

Sheikh Ammar stressed the importance of the commitment of all departments, institutions and authorities with community responsibility while highlighting to them the necessity of offering initiatives that spread goodness and giving, under of the directives of His Highness the President, to contribute to giving.

He called on officials and members of the community to strengthen the spirit of responsibility, by offering their suggestions and ideas for developing these contributions and activating them in a greater way during the Year of Giving.

Sheikh Ammar clarified that the people of the UAE are special for their goodness and giving and for aiding the vulnerable, and added that the progress of giving has come from the wise leadership since a long time.

He added that real and positive involvement to ensure the success of the initiative requires the participation of all citizens and residents in providing goodness and giving to benefit everyone while stressing that the initiative of the president is an open invitation to those who love giving and humanity.
