UAE is spending Dh20 billion on space projects

DUBAI 31 May 2018: The UAE’s investments in the aerospace sector amount to Dh20 billion, according to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

“We have the largest space project in the region,” he said in a tweet adding that the “space project is proceeding rapidly with unlimited support and continuous follow-up from my brother Mohammed bin Zayed … Thank you Mohammed bin Zayed.”

Sheikh Mohammed praised the new achievement for Emirati youth and of the UAE following the successful launch of Al Yah 3 satellite.

“UAE people today embrace the stars of Heaven as an achievement, an ambition and a performance,” he said.
